'I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, O.K., I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person,' says Catherine Hardwicke when talking about the 'Twilight' stars' romance.
Fans don't have to question anymore about the nature of
Robert Pattinson and
Kristen Stewart's relationship. In an interview with Time magazine posted on Thursday, November 12, Catherine Hardwicke, the director of "
Twilight", revealed she had warned Pattinson not to date Stewart, who was less than 18 years old when she became the cast member of the vampire drama movie.
"After I cast him, I told Rob, don't even think about having a romance with her ... She's under 18. You will be arrested," she said. Hardwicke, however, mentioned that she couldn't confirm whether or not Pattinson and Stewart hooked up during "Twilight" filming.
"In terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn't happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film," Hardwicke explained further to . "I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, O.K., I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person."
On Tuesday night, November 10, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were snapped walking hand-in-hand at Le Bourget airport in Paris when preparing for their departure to London. At that time, both of them didn't hesitate to show off their closeness, just like they usually do. Then, on November 12, they kept close when attending the photo call for their upcoming movie "
