Screenwriter Kevin Williamson shares about his obsession to have the 'Love Story' hitmaker making a cameo in 'The Vampire Diaries' to play a vampire.
It appears that
Taylor Swift will start her career on small screen. Kevin Williamson, the screenwriter of
Paul Wesley-starring TV series "The Vampire Diaries", reveals that he once approached the famous actress/singer to make a cameo in the show, but she couldn't make it because of her hectic schedule.
"My new obsession is getting Taylor Swift! I think she's gotten too big for 'Vampire Diaries' now -- I tried to get her on the show once, but she was touring," Williamson told New York Post. "But I'm desperate to have her come play a vampire. Wouldn't she make an amazing
Kirsten Dunst circa 'Interview with the Vampire' type? Oh my god, I can not tell you how hard I'm trying to get her -- I would kill to have her on the show!"
In addition to Swift, Williamson admits he wants to have the Sidney Prescott of "Scream" film franchise,
Neve Campbell, to join The CW's show. "I did ask Neve [Campbell] to come play a vampire. She's too busy filming a movie right now, but maybe down the road," he testifies.
"The Vampire Diaries" follows
Nina Dobrev's Elena Gilbert who falls in love with Paul Wesley's Stefan Salvatore and she has no way of knowing he is a centuries-old vampire. While Stefan struggles to live peacefully among humans, his brother
Ian Somerhalder's Damon is the embodiment of violence and brutality. The drama series airs on Thursdays at 8:00 P.M.
