20-year-old
Chris Brown was scolded by
Rihanna's supporter when he attended an event in Manhattan on November 11. Brown, who posed for pictures with fans, got the verbal abuse from a woman who screamed, "F**king beater. You belong in jail ... you feel like a man?". Brown, who will release his newest album "Graffiti" on December 15, stayed calm after the squib and continued on taking pictures with fans.
After beating Rihanna on February 8, right before their scheduled performances at 2009 Grammys, Brown pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 5 years probation and 180 days of community service in Virginia. Beside that, Brown was ordered to stay at least 200 yards away from Rihanna and he's not allowed to contact her for five years ahead.
On November 12, Chris Brown appeared in a taped interview at BET's "106 & Park", talking to host Rocsi Diaz about his misdeed to Rihanna. During which, he also revealed his childhood abuse and how fans react to him right now, claiming that public judgment was the hardest issue he has to deal with. In an earlier taping of the show, he said of the latter issue, "'We don't like you'; it's the world. It kind of messes with a real peson. I'm a real guy. I'm not a mannequin or a robot. I'm a real dude, so that hurts."
