At the 30th anniversary gala for the Museum of Contemporary Art, GaGa takes the stage to perform a song she wrote for her father entitled 'Speechless'.
Lady GaGa has made use of the 30th anniversary gala for the Museum of Contemporary Art to debut her new ballad "Speechless". On Saturday night, November 14 in Los Angeles, the dance electronica singer took the runway and sang for the first time the song featured in her forthcoming mini album "The Fame Monster".
The "Poker Face" hitmaker, who wore wore bright blond curly wig and a Japanese Geisha-style black lipstick, was seen belting out the song and showcasing her other musical skills on a pastel pink Steinway grand piano. During her performance, she was accompanied by Italian artist Francesco Vessoli and the Bolshoi Ballet dancers.
Of the song itself, the 23-year-old songstress shared that it was written by her for her father. "[Speechless] was this plea to my father [to get open heart surgery]," she recalled. "I sent it to him. I have a lot of fans who are really lovely, young, troubled fans, but I want to remind them that you only get one set of parents."
