The 'Happy' songstress will be the voice behind 'I See You', the theme song to James Cameron's sci-fi film, that will be played over the end credits.
First details about the score to the much awaited "
Avatar" has come out, unraveling the fact that
Leona Lewis will be the voice behind the film's theme song. Through the press release issued by Atlantic Records on Monday, November 16, it is uncovered that the winner of the third "The X Factor" will perform the "I See You" track.
"I See You" is produced by James Horner and Simon Franglen, the duo who worked with
Celine Dion on "My Heart Will Go On", the theme song for James Cameron's 1997 movie "Titanic". Much like "My Heart", this song will be the only vocal track to be found in the soundtrack album for the movie, and will be played over the end credits.
"Avatar: Music From the Motion Picture", the official score album companion to the James Cameron-directed sci-fi, comprises of 13 tracks from composer James Horner. Currently available for pre-order at AvatarScore.com, it will come out in U.S. stores on December 15, three days before the movie hits theaters across the country.
Leona Lewis is awaiting the U.S. release of her second studio album "Echo", which is due on November 17. She had performed her first single off the new album, "Happy", live in U.S. for the first time on the finale of "America's Got Talent" season 4. The single was written by
OneRepublic's vocalist Ryan Tedder.
