First Look at Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth in 'The Last Song'

A day prior to the release of the first trailer for the Disney drama, three promotional photos have been released, giving first look at the two leading actors.

Miley Cyrus and her co-star Liam Hemsworth have become the subjects of promo for "The Last Song" as seen in the film's newly-released stills. The three pictures are put out via the film's official Facebook page. While two of the promo photos capture the two of them cozying up, one centers only on Cyrus.

Along with the release of these first images comes the news on when and where the drama's first trailer will be made available for viewing pleasure. Recently, it is uncovered that Walt Disney Pictures will also make use of the film's Facebook account to launch the sneak peek on Tuesday night, November 17 at 7 P.M. PST.

"The Last Song" is adapted from Nicholas Sparks' upcoming novel. Set in a small Southern beach town, the movie follows an estranged father who gets a chance to spend the summer with his daughter who'd rather be home in New York. In a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, he tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common, that is music.

Miley Cyrus takes the role of the reluctant daughter, and Greg Kinnear is set to play her father. Liam Hemsworth, in the meantime, will be seen as her love interest and a successful beach volleyball player who has his dream set on the Ivy League. Kelly Preston also joins them. Directed by Julie Anne Robinson, the movie will come out in theaters across the U.S. on April 2, 2010.
