Daniel Radcliffe to Spoof 'Twilight' on 'The Simpsons'
The star of the 'Harry Potter' franchise will voice a character named Edmund in a Halloween episode of the longest-running TV series next fall.
will be lending his voice for one particular upcoming episode of "The Simpsons". Entertainment Weekly broke the news, reporting the series' executive producer Al Jean has revealed that the "Harry Potter" star will take part in a "" parody as part of the next "Treehouse of Horror XXI" episode.

"Daniel was very excited to do The Simpsons," Jean shared, "and we kept trying to ask him for secrets from the upcoming 'Harry Potter' movie until we realized that they were all in the books." It is further explained that the 20-year-old will provide voice to a kid vampire character named Edmund whom Lisa falls for in the episode to be aired in fall 2010. The segment will see Edmund's father, Dracula, and Homer try to pull the two apart.

"The Simpsons" has previously spoofed the "Harry Potter" series in one of the segments in "Treehouse of Horror XII". Titled "Wiz Kids", the segment saw Bart and Lisa attending Springwart's School of Magickry. There, they team up with Harry Potter to fight Montgomery Burns, who is disguised as the evil Lord Montymort.

Daniel Radcliffe himself made his big break when landing the titular role of Harry Potter in the feature franchise of J.K. Rowling's novel series adaptation. He was last seen reprising his character in July-released "". The star of Peter Schaffer's play "Equus" will be seen taking on the role again in the last two installments of the series, "" and "".
