Nick Jonas will make his debut performance with his side project, The Administration, at the Grammy Nominations Concert Live in December.
Following the release of to Nick Jonas and The Administration's single "Who I Am" came the news that
Nick Jonas will take the stage sans
Jonas Brothers in December. The youngest member of the popular pop rock boy band will be making his debut with his new band at 2009 Grammy Nominations Concert Live.
At the special concert held on December 2 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, he and his side project will be introduced by his older brothers,
Joe Jonas and
Kevin Jonas. The band is expected to perform the title track off their debut album "Who I Am". The performance itself will take place two months before the effort comes out in U.S. stores on February 2.
Nick Jonas and The Administration is the latest performers announced for the Grammy Nominations Concert. The band joins other previously-announced performers that include
Black Eyed Peas,
Maxwell and
Sugarland at the show to be hosted by
LL Cool J and aired live on CBS.
In a recent interview with USA Today, Nick Jonas revealed that he plans to tour with The Administration in early 2010 before he joins the production for the next season of "J.O.N.A.S!". On what songs he and the band will be playing, the 17-year-old shared, "We're going to play the record and a couple of covers, songs that we all like and want to play live. I've thought that I would play some of the songs that I've written for the Jonas Brothers, things that are personal to me."
