Explaining why his debut album is lack of the acoustic sounds, 'American Idol' season eight winner Kris Allen promises his second one will contain more unplugged materials.
Winning some of fans' heart through his acoustic performances in "American Idol" season eight,
Kris Allen disappointed some of his fans when his self-titled album is lack of the unplugged sounds. Of that matter, he said MTV News, "I think it was something that we wanted on there, but [it just] didn't happen. Album number two. Don't worry."
The "Idol" winner, moreover, gushed, "Maybe I'll make a little EP, iTunes thing. It'll be sick." In further statement, he opened up that one of the leftover tracks from the album is titled "Top of the World" saying, "I thought it was great. I think the song's awesome. You'll hear the song sometime."
Originally "Translate Your Soul", Allen's debut album "Kris Allen" was released on November 17 in United States. The first single "Live Like We're Dying" was premiered at New York radio station Z100. The song was originally recorded by Irish band The Script.
His fellow contestants in "Idol" will soon follow his big step in releasing album. Runner-up
Adam Lambert is scheduled to release his first album, "For Your entertainment", on November 23. A month later, fourth-place finisher
Allison Iraheta will catch up her colleagues by releasing her own record, "Just Like You", on December 1.
