'We're not good friends,' says the Mary Jane Watson of 'Spider-Man' film franchise when revealing the nature of her relationship with ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.
After breaking up with
Jake Gyllenhaal,
Kirsten Dunst doesn't try to keep a good relationship with him. Speaking to the December issue of Allure magazine, she reveals, "It would be nice to see him. But we're not good friends."
Began dating in September 2002, the Mary Jane Watson of "
Spider-Man" film series and the 28-year-old hunk reportedly shared a Los Angeles home and a dog named Atticus. Unfortunately, in 2004, the two decided to call off their longtime relationship.
Following the split, Jake has been romancing "Legally Blonde" actress
Reese Witherspoon, while Kirsten stays unattached. Thus, the 27-year-old beauty sometimes invites her pals to spend some quality time with her in her New York City apartment. "My girlfriends will sleep in bed with me, but no guests - not long-term, anyway," she claims.
Kirsten Dunst was recently seen portraying Alison Olsen in "
How to Lose Friends & Alienate People". She can next be seen starring in "
All Good Things", "
Spider-Man 4", and "
Upside Down".
