The Los Angeles court records show that the 'Dawson's Creek' star cites irreconcilable differences as the reason of his split from Heather McComb, his wife of nearly six years.
Having announced his separation from actress wife Heather McComb in summer,
James Van Der Beek moves forward with the legal proceedings. Los Angeles court records reveal that the actor known for his portrayal of Dawson Leery in popular '90s series "Dawson's Creek" had filed for divorce on Friday, November 13.
The court records also unraveled that the 32-year-old cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. While he and his wife had through his representative announced their separation back in June, the legal documents disclosed when exactly the two split. As seen in , Beek entered April 15 on the separation date.
No word is shared by Beek and McComb regarding this divorce proceedings, but the actor apparently is channeling his attention to work. On Thursday, November 19, he tweeted on what he is doing. "Time to go to work. My job tonight - piss off Antonio Banderas take after take after take... 'Let's play...'," he wrote.
James Van Der Beek and Heather McComb exchanged vows in July 2003 at an outdoor ceremony in Malibu. In early June this year, Us Magazine confirmed that the two were separating, adding that his rep stated the former couple remain good friends. They have no children together.
