Rihanna Is 'Single and Ready to Mingle'

Responding to the report linking her romantically to '90210' star Tristan Wilds, the 'Russian Roulette' singer states she is not dating anyone.

Contrary to the flying rumors that suggest she is dating "90210" actor Tristan Wilds, Rihanna insists she is currently single. Talking to Billy Bush on "The Billy Bush Show" on Thursday, November 19, the Barbadian singer said, "I'm not dating anyone...I'm not dating anyone," before adding, "I'm single and ready to mingle!"

Though saying so, the 21-year-old was quick to add that her focus right now is her music. "I don't really want to date night now," she explained. "I don't want a serious relationship only because it's a lot of time and energy and a big commitment. And right now I'm just focused on 'Rated R,' [which] is like a child, it needs a lot of attention and is a lot of hard work and a lot of sleepless nights."

When pressed further on the recent speculation of her possible romance with Wilds, Rihanna has this to say, "I don't know if I would say he's my friend." She further elaborated her comment, saying "He came to one of my parties, but we don't have even have each other's cell phone numbers, so I don't know what you call that."

Rumor of Rihanna romancing Tristan Wilds was brewing days earlier after New York Daily News reported that the singer hooked up with the TV actor at a party held at her Los Angeles home over the weekend. At the time, the publication cited a guest as saying, "No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party - it was very intimate. But everyone quickly realized they weren't meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see."

Rihanna is currently waiting for the release of her fourth studio album "Rated R", which will be made available for purchase in the U.S. on Monday, November 23. She recently debuted a music video for the album's first single "Russian Roulette". The video was premiered on November 13, the same day her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown released his "Crawl" music video.
