"I'm not dating anyone, those are just rumors," he told Radar Online during his appearance at GQ Men of the Year party at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood on Wednesday, November 18. Asked if there are any special women in his life, the "True Blood" actor simply answered, "My mom and my sister."
Contrary to his statement, Alexander was reportedly seen holding hands with Kate when passing through the guests at the event. "Alex and Kate were holding hands and seemed like a couple. At one point, they held onto the smalls of each others' backs," a partygoer told Just Jared.

Soon after the annual awards event that was aired on Spike TV on October 27, Alexander and Kate were said partying together at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. Leaving the venue, the rumored lovers were caught hopping in the backseat of a same car.
