Heidi Klum Gives Surprise Runway Walk at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Being the host to the 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show five weeks after giving birth to daughter, the supermodel surprises the crowd as she struts on the runway Thursday night, November 19.

Although she had just given birth to her fourth child in October, Heidi Klum didn't miss the chance to walk on the catwalk of 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. On Thursday night, November 19 at the 69th Regiment Armory in New York City, the model who acted as the host of the show surprised crowd when she strutted on the runway.

Emerging from the huge, castle-like set, the 36-year-old made the surprise trip down the runway to open the "Enchanted Forest" segment of the show. During the walk, she was seen wearing a beautiful purple corset and green half gown with poufs of tulle by Jane Law. Her accessories included jewelry by Mouawad and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.

Before the show, she has said she opted for hosting instead of modeling because she "wasn't quite ready yet." She added, "This kind of takes a lot of planning. When you have a baby, you can't really know if in five weeks' time you're like everyone else over here." Of her hosting role, she revealed, "You have less pressure. You definitely have less pressure when you don't shake your booty in front of millions around the world."

Klum wasn't the only crowd pleaser on the special night. Former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl Marisa Miller had the honor to show off the $3 million diamond-encrusted Fantasy Bra, and musical guest Black Eyed Peas rocked the show. Peas' only female member, Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie, changed her outfit twice. She was seen in a black, jeweled bodysuit, before coming out later in a green corset gown.

In the annual fashion show which will be aired on CBS on December 1, Angels' Miranda Kerr, Selita Ebanks, Alessandra Ambrosio were joined by newbies, Emanuela de Paula, Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lindsay Ellingson and Candice Swanepoel. Spotted in the front row, in the meantime, were Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Michelle Trachtenberg, Christian Siriano, Keri Hilson and Kings of Leon.
