A Los Angeles court commissioner approves the change of 36-year-old's legal name into Heidi Samuel, the surname of her husband Seal.
has officially changed her name into Heidi Samuel. On Friday, November 20, a Los Angeles court commissioner approved the supermodel's request to adopt the last name of her husband Seal, whose birth name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Samuel. However, there has been no word if she will use the surname professionally.
Back in early October, Klum filed a petition in Los Angeles court to legally change her name. At that time, she cited her marriage with Seal as the reason for the change. The decision came about four years after the 36-year-old beauty tied the knot with the musician.
Heidi Klum and Seal exchanged wedding vows on May 10, 2005. They have already had three children from their marriage, sons Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel, and daughter Lou Sulola Samuel. Additionally, Klum has another daughter, Leni Klum, from her previous relationship with Formula One manager Flavio Briatore.
