Nicole Richie Is Home From Hospital

Joel Madden said that her girlfriend, Nicole Richie, is at last checked out from hospital after being treated for pneumonia and is doing well now.

Nicole Richie has finally checked out from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she has been treated with a case of pneumonia for several days. Joel Madden, her beau who is known as the vocalist of "Good Charlotte", said that the 28-year-old beauty is now resting at home and doing well.

"So I stepped off the plane after a month out of country, and basically went straight to the hospital for the week," Madden wrote on his band's website on Friday, November 20. "Don't worry. All is well and we are home with no problems."

"I was supposed to go into the studio a finish the last few vocals for the record, but that had to wait. Family first. I will be finishing them next week and the record will be all mixed and done by the end of the year," he continued. "Just getting home from the hospital to a healthy family is enough for me but to do what i love is the icing on the cake."

Back in November, Nicole Richie wasn't able to attend the launch of her House of Harlow jewelry line at Bebe in Los Angeles after complaining of being sick. She later on gave update concerning her condition on Twitter writing, "OK cold, it's been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving."

At that time, the mother of daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden and son Sparrow James Midnight Madden was rumored suffering from swine flu. But, her representative was quick to shoot down the rumor. The rep stated, "Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia. She is doing well."
