Attending the 37th annual awards show, the 'Wizards of Waverly Place' star dons a silver Talbot Runhof dress, while her BFF opts to sport a peach gown.

Hitting the red carpet of 2009 American Music Awards, "Wizards of Waverly Place" star Selena Gomez looked stunning in a silver Talbot Runhof dress. Her BFF Demi Lovato, in the meantime, opted a peach dress when posing for pics. Both of them were presenters at the event that took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 22.

Beside Selena and Demi, the winner of "American Idol" season 1, Kelly Clarkson, was seen among the guests. Showing off her curly locks, she donned a rhinestone dress. Some top notch songstresses, including Shakira, Rihanna, Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie, and Carrie Underwood, were also in attendance.

Additionally, country music crooner Keith Urban was seen coming to the venue in the companion of his wife Nicole Kidman. The 42-year-old singer later on took home Favorite Country Male Artist title. Moreover, "Couples Retreat" actress Kristen Bell attended the event wearing a super-flattering bandeau top and skirt by Christian Cota.

The 37th Annual American Music Awards was broadcast live on ABC at 8:00 P.M. Among the headliners were Adam Lambert, Janet Jackson, Lady GaGa, Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, and Alicia Keys.
