Best known for his roles in drama musical movies, Zac Efron shares his thought on whether he will make a move to an action movie.
Famous for his Troy Bolton role in "High School Musical" series,
Zac Efron revealed that he would like to star in an action movie. During an interview with Time, Zac claimed that he has to wait for the right role before turning gears since he believes that the right timing is important if he doesn't want to fail.
"I would love to try an action film at some point, but not too soon," Zac said. "I think that can be a kiss of death. There's got to be a real role that I can bring something unique and specific to, a way for me to do it believably. Until then, I think it would just come across as too weird."
Talking about what would make him taking a role in a movie, the "
17 Again" star confessed to consider it by weighing whether he would like to see the movie or not. He uttered, " 'Would I go watch this movie?' That's probably the first thing I think about." He then added, "The second is, 'What's the challenge? What's the risk?'"
Beside the "HSM" series, 22-year-old Zac Efron has also starred in another drama musical, "
Hairspray." His latest movie is "
Me and Orson Welles", in which he stars opposite
Claire Danes. Zac will be seen in upcoming movie, "The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud", which is scheduled for release in 2010.
