Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert Fall Down During 2009 AMAs Performances

At 2009 American Music Awards, the 40-year-old beauty falls down on her ass as she tries to make a big jump, while the 'American Idol' alum tumbles when performing 'For Your Entertainment'.

Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert experienced similar accidents during their performances at 2009 American Music Awards on Sunday night, November 22. Both of them fell down on stage during their performances at the event.

Wearing a skimpy costume, the 40-year-old beauty bust her ass while she performed her new single "Louboutins". At that time, Lopez was seen trying to make a big jump, but failed. Thankfully, she soon got up and finished off her knock-out performance. Giving an update on the songstress' condition following the incident, her representative confirmed, "She is fine, totally fine."

At the end of the annual awards show, Lambert also dealt with similar mishap. He took a tumble when attempting to make his way up a set of stairs while he sang his new single "For Your Entertainment" from his major-label debut with the same title, "For Your Entertainment".

Fortunately, the 27-year-old soon recovered and rolled into his next position. Adam closed the event by giving a very provocative performance by simulating oral sex with a male backing dancer and making out with his keyboardist, whom he described as a straight male.

The 37th Annual American Music Awards was held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Young country music songstress Taylor Swift won the mods nods at the show as she took home five prizes, including Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, Favorite Country Female Artist, and Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist. The 19-year-old also beat late Michael Jackson for Artist of the Year title.
