Demi Lovato Admits Romance With Joe Jonas in 'Camp Rock 2'

While she makes sure not to spill too much beans on 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam', the songstress confesses the 'Camp Rock' sequel steps up the romance between her character and Joe Jonas'.

Demi Lovato has been reported to share a kiss with Joe Jonas in "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam", and while she doesn't deny or confirm the matter, the Disney's star reveals that the movie definitely steps up the love story between her character and Joe's. The 17-year-old addressed the matter when talking to MTV News on Sunday, November 22 at 2009 American Music Awards.

Met up at the awards show's red carpet, Demi shared what to expect from the sequel of 2008 "Camp Rock" saying, "We upped the romantic scenes between my character and Joe Jonas'." When pressed to confirm the rumored lip-lock scene between Mitchie and Shane however, she kept a tight lid. "I don't know. You'll have to watch for it," she responded.

Beside gushing about the romance, the star of Disney's original series "Sonny With a Chance" also disclosed that there will be more dancing and singing in the made-for-television movie. "It's stepped up. There's a ton of dancing," so she promised. "We had, like, 25 dancers last movie; now there's, like, 60. It's definitely more like a musical."

"Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" revolves around Mitchie, Shane and their friends as they return to Camp Rock for another great summer of music and fun. But, they soon learn that the future of their beloved camp is put in jeopardy as a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, opens across the lake. Now, they have to prepare themselves for the ultimate battle of the bands between the two camps.

Demi Lovato reprises her role as Mitchie and Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers returns as Shane. Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, Meaghan Jette Martin, Alyson Stoner and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle also come back to take on their roles once again. The filming that took place in Ontario, Canada was wrapped in October. The TV movie reportedly will be premiered on August 9, 2010.
