'Kat Dennings is going to be in it with me,' says Natalie Portman when confirming the 23-year-old's involvement in Marvel Studios' comic book adaptation 'Thor'.

Kat Dennings joins the cast ensemble for "
Thor". The news was uncovered by the depicter of Jane Foster,
Natalie Portman, during the promotion of her forthcoming movie "
Brothers".
Asked by MTV News who she is looking forward the most to work with in the Kenneth Branagh-helmed movie, Portman admitted, "Well I'm really excited. Kat Dennings is going to be in it with me and she's a good friend and an amazing actress, so I'm looking forward to that." Unfortunately, as of the press time, Paramount Pictures hasn't given any official confirmation about Dennings' involvement.
Kat Dennings started her acting career with her portrayal of Jenny Brier in famous TV series "Sex and the City". Since then, she has appeared in lots of movies, including "
The 40 Year-Old Virgin", "
Big Momma's House 2", "
The House Bunny", "
The Answer Man", and "
Shorts". The 23-year-old can next be seen starring in "
Defendor", "
End Zone", and "
Liars (A-E)".
"Thor" itself is a superhero movie about a powerful but arrogant warrior, The Mighty Thor, whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war.
Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston,
Anthony Hopkins, and
Samuel L. Jackson secure roles in the film, which is set to be released in U.S. theaters on May 20, 2011.
