Saying she doesn't watch 'Twilight', the 17 year old star explains that she never means to say she dislikes the movie and apologizes if she spites anyone.
Selena Gomez convinced "Twilight Saga" fans that her comment on "The Bonnie Hunt Show" never meant that she doesn't like the vampire series. At 2009 American Music Awards on November 22, she clarified her remark through E! Online, saying "All I said was that I didn't watch it and I felt bad for not watching it."
Selena moreover said, "But of course, now it's like, 'I don't like it.' That's not the case." The "Wizards of Waverly Place" star continued on by admitting that she hasn't read any of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" novel series, but was quick to say, "And I'm sorry if I offended anyone for that."
Selena got tangled with her own words after paying a visit to the show hosted by Bonnie Hunt. She at the time revealed, "I don't watch them. Sorry, I feel bad ... even though I am a teenager." The episode which will see her making that remark will be aired on December 16. During the interview, the actress who was once linked romantically to Jacob Black depicter
Taylor Lautner mentioned that she is on "Team Jacob."
While Selena Gomez has explained that she never meant saying she didn't like "
Twilight", her fellow Disney star,
Miley Cyrus, had come up with bolder statement. During an interview with Cleveland radio station Q92, the 17-year-old "Hannah Montana" lead asserted, "I've never seen it and nor will I ever....I don't like it. I don't want anything to do with it. I don't like the shirts. I don't like any of it."
