Joining a list of other December hosts that include Blake Lively and James Franco, the star of 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon' is set to host the late-night sketch comedy show on December 12.
Taylor Lautner will be making a visit to "Saturday Night Live". NBC has announced recently that the Jacob Black of the "Twilight Saga" series will be making his debut on the popular sketch show when he hosts its December 12 edition. He will be paired with musical guest
Bon Jovi.
Along with the announcement of Lautner's debut, NBC also reveals other Hollywood stars the network has tapped to fill in as hosts for other December dates. "Gossip Girl" lead
Blake Lively will be taking the role of "SNL" host for the first time on December 5, while "
Pineapple Express" star
James Franco will make his second appearance as the show's host on December 19.
Lively who has just finished filming
Ben Affleck's "
The Town" will be joined by musical guest
Rihanna. It will also be the Barbadian singer's first trip to the show. Meanwhile, Franco who is currently appearing on daytime soap "General Hospital" will host the show alongside U.K. rock band
Muse.
Taylor Lautner made his big break in the movie industry through his role as Jacob Black in the "Twilight Saga" series. He is recently seen in theaters across the U.S. with the release of "
The Twilight Saga's New Moon" on November 20. The teenage actor stars opposite country singer
Taylor Swift in the February 2010-released "
Valentine's Day".
