Debunking rumor that Nicole Scherzinger and the rest of the girl group are not on speaking term, founder Robin Antin insists, ' there is NO truth to the silent treatment statements'.
The Pussycat Dolls keeps on getting hit by break-up rumors, forcing founder Robin Antin to speak out about the real status on the all girl pop group. Responding to recent split speculation sparked by The New York Post's Page Six, the choreographer told Hollyscoop, "The Pussycat Dolls are very much ALIVE and there is NO truth to the silent treatment statements."
"Nicole and the Dolls have ALWAYS been close. Nicole is and always has been a strong creative force within this group and I cherish the way we collaborate," Antin went on with the denial. "The Pussycat Dolls have proven their success over many years and will continue to do so. The PCD brand has evolved and has continuously grown since day one so look out for new music, new concepts, new faces and more hit songs!"
On Wednesday, November 25, Page Six came out with the story that although their label Interscope claimed the girl band is on a break, the truth is the band has given lead singer
Nicole Scherzinger a silent treatment. The site cited a source as saying, "It is war. They have broken up for good. None of the other girls are speaking to Nicole, who they believe took the limelight, then went off to do her own thing."
Back in July, Nicole Scherzinger has been put on the blame for the tension within The Pussycat Dolls. Member Kimberly Wyatt confirmed as saying, "It's true, there has always been a lot of focus on Nicole which has been hard to deal with sometimes. This group was created with a foundation, they knew exactly what they wanted and they had Nicole as the focus."
