The Colombian singer invites fans to vote for the finalists in her talent search where the selected winners will open her upcoming traveling show.
Shakira needs a favor from her fans as she is on her way to look for up-and-coming artists to open her upcoming world tour. The "She Wolf" singer will let fans to pick their favorite artists as the finalists for a chance to perform as her opening acts. Though fans select the candidates, Shakira's team will choose the winners.
In what is called an international talent search, the wannabe musicians are invited to upload their video performances on Shakira's website. Her spokesperson, Sean Wolfington, told the New York Post's Page Six, "The artists will open for Shakira live in big cities and virtually through a video performance in smaller market. There are a lot of talented artists, and Shakira wants to help them by giving them a part of her stage."
Shakira, who won 2006 Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album, will set out her 2010 world tour in May. The concert is going to include America, Europe, Asia and Australia, and is aimed to support her album "She Wolf" which was released in U.S. on November 27.
