Rumor of Reese Witherspoon calling off her romance with Jake Gyllenhaal has been turned down. On Sunday, November 29, their representatives, Nanci Ryder and Carrie Byalick, confirmed that the news is "not true". Additionally, the reps claimed, "They are still together."

People magazine was the first which came up with report that Reese and Jake had ended their longtime relationship. According to the site, a source close to the "Legally Blonde" actress had informed the magazine about the break-up. However, the site didn't give further details regarding the report.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal began dating in 2007 following her divorce from husband Ryan Phillippe, with whom she has two children, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe and Deacon Reese Phillippe. Recently, the 33-year-old beauty sang praise to Jake, telling the November issue of InStyle magazine "Jake [Gyllenhaal] is a great cook - he does a lot."

"We spend the weekends outside L.A., in Ojai, where I have a farmhouse," she further explained. "We have chickens and we grow cucumbers and tomatoes. I love it. It reminds me of where I grew up in Tennessee."
