Taylor Lautner Mobbed by Jamie Foxx During 'Twilight' Premiere

The Jacob Black of 'Twilight Saga' series recalls the moment when the 31-year-old actor approached and asked him for a picture at the premiere of the 2008 movie.

It appears that Taylor Lautner is not only idolized by tween girls, but also by Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx. The Jacob Black of "Twilight Saga" film franchise has revealed that the 31-year-old star approached him during the premiere of "Twilight" last year to ask him for a picture.

"There's tons of fans and we hear all of these high pitch voices and we hear 'Rah, rah, Taylor, Taylor!' " the 17-year-old said during his appearance in "Lopez Tonight" on Thursday, November 26. "All of a sudden I hear this deep voice behind me: 'Taylor, Taylor!' "

Lautner went on recalling, "And this guy walks up to me and he goes 'Hey ... my daughter is a huge fan, and I'm a huge fan is there any way I can get a picture with you." He added, "I'm Jamie Foxx.' I was like, 'Are you kidding me? Can I get a picture with you?' "

Taylor Lautner made his break with his portrayal of Sharkboy in "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D". He was last seen reprising his Jacob Black character in "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", which topped the North American box office for a second week in a row with an estimated $42.5 million worth of ticket sales.

Lautner can next be seen starring together with Jamie Foxx in Garry Marshall-directed film "Valentine's Day". The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters across the U.S. on February 12, 2010.
