Returning to Los Angeles from London, the Barbadian singer is expected to film the music video for the second single off her 'Rated R' album before going to New York City.
It won't be long until
Rihanna hit the set of the music video for her second single "Hard". The 21-year-old singer reportedly is going to shoot for the video within the next few days, and she has been spotted arriving at LAX airport with her BFF Melissa on Monday, November 30 after a flight from London.
The filming of the music video will be done before she goes to New York City for JetBlue concert held on December 3. According to Just Jared, director Anthony Mandler who has directed many of Rihanna's previous videos will not serve behind the lens for this music video. Instead of him, helmer Melina Matsoukas will take on the role behind the camera.
"Hard" is the second official single off Rihanna's fourth studio album "Rated R". Produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, it features rapper
Young Jeezy. The track had been debuted on radio back on October 2, and was sung by the ex-girlfriend of
Chris Brown for the first time at
Jay-Z's concert at UCLA Pauley Pavilion.
Rihanna went to London to perform single "Russian Roulette" at "The X Factor" on Sunday, November 29. After making an appearance at JetBlue concert, she will head to "Saturday Night Live" for the first time on December 5 as musical guest. She'll join "Gossip Girl" lead
Blake Lively, who serves as the popular sketch show's host on the episode.
On other news, Rihanna has denied her father's that he had tried to contact her, but was met with no result for reconciliation. The Sun quoted her as responding to the remark, "He has too much pride [to speak to me]. It's almost like we play opposite roles - I'm the adult and he's the stubborn teenage boy."
