Beside thanking his fans for supporting him over his controversial 2009 American Music Awards performance, the 'American Idol' alum promises to start working on his music career again.
Following controversy over his raunchy performance at 2009 American Music Awards,
Adam Lambert revealed that he will start working on his music again. Taking to his Twitter account on Monday, November 30, the 27-year-old wrote, "AMA performance was a one time event. Goin in a new direction now. Focus back on the music."
In another post, he wrote, "Don't worry friends: I'm still gonna be me. Always. W/o appologies. Just gonna experiment differently w how I present myself. I'm learning." Thanking his fans who have supported him, the runner-up of "American Idol" season 8 tweeted, "And thank you all for your kind and supportive tweets. Means more than you can imagine. It was a looong week."
Adam Lambert has delivered a controversial performance while singing his single "For Your Entertainment" at the 37th Annual American Music Awards on November 22. At that time, he was seen locking lips with his straight male keyboardist, simulating oral sex with a male backing dancer, as well as flashing his middle finger. His performance soon generated about 1,500 complaints from viewers and a cancellation of his scheduled appearance in "Good Morning America" on November 25.
