The 'I Kissed a Girl' hitmaker will be joined by Linkin Park, George Lopez and T-Pain among other presenters at 'The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!' on December 2.
Having successfully hosted the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards,
Katy Perry will do more of the talking at the upcoming "The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown To Music's Biggest Night". The 25-year-old singer has been tapped as one of the presenters at the special concert event held on December 2 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles.
A Grammy-nominated pop star herself, the "Ur So Gay" hitmaker is added to the list of other past Grammy winners and/or nominees to be featured on the event to make the announcement of nominations in several categories and performances. She joins comedian George Lopez and other musicians,
Linkin Park, Smokey Robinson, Ringo Starr,
T-Pain and Dwight Yoakam.
While Perry is set to be a presenter,
Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, Sugarland and
Nick Jonas will perform at the one-hour special. The latter, in particular, won't hit the stage with his
Jonas Brothers band, but with his side project Nick Jonas and The Administration. French DJ/producer David Guetta will spin throughout the show.
Produced by AEG Ehrlich Ventures, LLC and John Cossette Productions, "The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown To Music's Biggest Night" will be broadcast live on CBS from 9 to 10 P.M. ET/PT. Two-time Grammy winner
LL Cool J serves as host. Meanwhile, the 52nd annual Grammys itself is scheduled for January 31, 2010 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
