Confirmed, Lil Wayne and Nivea Welcome Baby Boy

The R 'n' B singer has given birth to her son with the rapper on Monday, November 30, a source at Wayne's recording home announces.

News that Lil Wayne welcomed his child with Nivea has been confirmed. On Tuesday, December 1, a source at his recording home, Universal/Motown, told MTV News the R 'n' B singer gave birth to a baby boy on Monday, November 30.

Report of the baby's birth was first brought forth by Mack Maine, the president of Wayne's record label Young Money. Taking to his Twitter account on November 30, he wrote, "I'm currently at da hospital!!! Few minutes away from havin anutha nephew. Uncle Mack ya heard me ... LUV!!!!!"

About an hour later, he announced in another post, "Thank god!!! Baby Neal was born healthy to Nivea Nash and Dwayne Carter!!!!" He further explained, "Thanx 4 all the blessings n support!!!! Love ya heard me!!!"

The newborn baby is Lil Wayne's fourth child. Back in October, the 27-year-old first announced that he was expecting a baby with Nivea, who is also The-Dream's ex-wife.

The previous month, he welcomed a son from his relationship with "I Love You, Beth Cooper" star Lauren London. Before dating the actress, Wayne was married to Antonia "Toya" Johnson, with whom he has a daughter named Reginae Carter. Splitting from Johnson, he began romancing rapper Trina. The two welcomed their son, Dwayne Carter III, on October 22, 2008.
