Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick Hit 'Gossip Girl' Set

The pair, who stars as on-screen couple Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass, is spotted hard at work shooting scenes for The CW's teen drama in New York City.

Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick coupled up once again for the filming of "Gossip Girl". Dressed in fancy clothings, the two were spotted portraying their famous characters, Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass, on the New York City set of The CW's show on Tuesday afternoon, December 1.

Leighton was seen pretty in blue with her hand holding onto several shopping bags, Ed suited up in black. The two were captured on camera walking side by side. Gossip Center reported that for the scenes they were shooting that day, their characters were happened to be getting chased by fake paparazzi. It isn't clear what episode the scenes were shot for.

On Monday, December 7, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick will return to the small screen with a new "Gossip Girl" episode titled "The Debarted". Westwick's character, Chuck, will be seen wrestling with an issue from the past on the anniversary of Bart Bass' death, while a serious car accident rocks the Upper East Side.

The next episode aside, Leighton has recently been reported to be caught up in a jealousy drama with co-star Taylor Momsen. Words are, Taylor is furious with the fact that The CW had used two of Leighton's songs, "Good Girls Go Bad" and "Somebody To Love", in the teen drama, but never asked to use hers.

However, the network was quick to respond to the story. A representative for the network issued a statement over the reason why it hasn't offered to use any of Taylor's songs, explaining "The show will support Taylor and her music when the time is right, but her music is not ready yet."
