Of the reason why she keeps her feelings for the baseball player under wraps, the 'Bride Wars' star says, 'I have a child, and there are people involved, and it's unfair to talk about somebody else.'
Kate Hudson has finally revealed the reason why she always keeps her romance with
Alex Rodriguez under wraps. Speaking to the January 2010 issue of Harper's Bazaar, the "
Bride Wars" star said it would be unfair if she told the public about her feelings for the baseball player.
"I have a child, and there are people involved, and it's unfair to talk about somebody else, especially when you're not in that place yet to be discussing those things," she admitted. "If I was sitting here with a belly out to here, I'd be talking about what the relationship is and how important that is in my life right now."
Hudson then went on to address a rumor that suggested her making out with Rodriguez backstage at 2009 American Music Awards on November 22. "There's a guy that's shooting probably 60 frames a minute. That was a sideswipe on the cheek. That wasn't even a kiss. I quickly kissed the cheek. And I remember one of the headlines the next day said, 'Makeout Session.' What is wrong with people?" she recalled.
During the interview, the 30-year-old beauty also talked about her ex-husband Chris Robinson, with whom she has a son named Ryder Russell Robinson. "Chris is a great dad. I feel really lucky. When we first met, it was so immediate. I had no question in my mind I was supposed to marry him and have children with him," she claimed.
Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson, who exchanged wedding vows on December 31, 2000, got divorced in October 2007. In May this year, she was first rumored having a special relationship with Alex Rodriguez. However, both Hudson and Rodriguez have never confirmed that they are an item.
