Speaking about the concept of her music video for the second single off her 'Rated R' album, the Barbadian singer shares that it will have tanks, helicopters and explosions among others.
Rihanna has shot music video for her new single "Hard", and shared on what to expect from the video. Met by MTV News on the set of the video, the 21-year-old singer gushed that the video will have a military vibe since the concept behind it is basically, as she described in her own words, "couture military".
The former girlfriend of
Chris Brown opened up, "Everything is surrounded by the whole idea of something military." Providing more details, the "Russian Roulette" hitmaker said, "We have tanks, we have troops, we've got helicopters, we've got explosions ... Tight gear, lot's of cute outfits, lot's of bullets. Crazy."
"Hard" is the second official single off Rihanna's fourth studio album "Rated R". Produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, it features rapper
Young Jeezy. Talking about the track itself, Rihanna recalled the time she heard it for the first time. "When I heard it, I just loved it. It had such an attitude and a swagger," so she said.
Aside from the music video, Rihanna also talked about her plan for 2010 tour to promote "Rated R". She shared, "We gonna be going on tour in the spring and the tickets are going to be up for presale in a couple weeks, actually. It's going to be a worldwide tour, so it's going to be a very long tour. ... We'll definitely be in your city, so look out for that."
