The 44-year-old actress recently admitted that returning to 'Sex and the City 2' has given her 'enormous regret' because she almost has no time for her twins.
Talking to Glamour magazine about motherhood in its January issue,
Sarah Jessica Parker opened up about her real feeling towards her return for the "
Sex and the City" sequel. She has recently confessed that she had an "enormous regret" for reprising her role as Carrie Bradshaw in "
Sex and the City 2".
On why she rued her decision, the 44-year-old mother of three claimed that she now has little time for her newborn twin daughters, Tabitha and Marion, because of her tight schedule. "It's been amazing, but complicated because of my current work schedule, which I have enormous regrets about," so she shared her thought.
SJP, further, told the publication, "Nothing can really describe what its like to have two new little girls. It's been very different than when James arrived, since our family expanded in an untraditional way. We didn't plan on having two, but were doubly blessed, and it's been just wonderful." She also spoke out about the twins, gushing "One would prefer to be held 24 hours a day, and the other is already suffering from type A issues."
Despite SJP's busy schedule, the "
Failure to Launch" star is "not complaining". She explained, "I've done this to myself. And I have a wonderful, wonderful nanny who allows me to be a working person. The great challenge for me is to be all things to all people; I want to be a great mother, and I want to feel good when I'm at work. But it is hard."
In addition, Sarah Jessica Parker also revealed that "Sex and the City 2" is "very brave about breaking the rules of romantic comedy." The big screen project will be debuted in the U.S. on May 28, 2010. SJP herself will be seen in a movie released on December 18 called "
Did You Hear About the Morgans?" along with actor
Hugh Grant.
