Beyonce Knowles to Take Two-Month Hiatus From Music

This 'Halo' hitmaker announces that she will visit several places around the world during her break from music industry in the spring of 2010.
has revealed that she will take some time off from music industry. Speaking to Daily Star, the R 'n' B songstress said she would go incognito for two months in the spring of 2010.

"I usually know what I'm going to do within a year. I have the next year planned out," the wife of admitted. "But for the first time ever, after a couple of dates in February and a couple of award shows, I promised myself that that it's time to smell the roses. I'm going to take - hopefully - a couple of months off. I'm not going to plan anything."

During the two-month break, Beyonce claimed that she will travel to some places around the world without her entourage as well as go sightseeing on her own. "I'll perhaps take some art classes," the 28-year-old revealed her plan.

She went on, "I'll visit some museums and I'll check out some shows on Broadway." She added, "I'd like to travel somewhere - maybe back to Egypt - without anyone, without any security, and focus on things I've always wanted to do myself."

Aside from this taking-a-break news, Beyonce Knowles was announced leading the pack of 2010 Grammy Awards nominees with 10 nods. During "The Grammy Nominations Concert Live: Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" on Wednesday, December 2, she received nominations which include Song of the Year for "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)", Record of the Year for "Halo", and Best Album for "I Am...Sasha Fierce".
