At 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', the 'Jenny from the Block' singer claims that she suffers sore bone as the result of her 2009 American Music Awards mishap.
Being a guest at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show",
Jennifer Lopez told host
Ellen DeGeneres that she suffered "a bruised bone" because of her accident at 2009 American Music Awards. Instead of mentioning which bone that is bruised however, she only told the comedian that she hurt her backside.
"What happened was one of the dancers' backs was slippery from sweat and lights and everything," the 40-year-old recalled on how she fell in the talk show episode which will be aired on December 10. "We never bargained for that because they always had T-shirts on in rehearsal."
"So they were barebacked, didn't have shirts on for the performance," the star of "The Wedding Planner" continued on explaining. "And when I stepped on their backs my feet got wet. So when I landed, it just slipped from under me."
Additionally, Jennifer revealed that she almost forgot having the mishap, saying "That's kind of what I felt the rest of the performance: Did I fall? It happened so fast." She added, "I was up and all I could think was, I have to get to the next beat. I have to do this dance solo right now. I had no time to think about it."
During her "Louboutins" performance at 2009 American Music Awards on November 22, Jennifer Lopez was seen trying to make a big jump but missed on the landing, resulting her to slip onto her backside. Though so, she quickly recovered as she immediately pulled herself up and continued singing the rest of the song.
