Behind-the-scenes pictures taken from the set of 'Hard' music video expose the 'Russian Roulette' hitmaker in skimpy military costumes.
Rihanna does bring "couture" to the military in her "Hard" music video as proved through several photos from the set. Being styled by Rob Zangardi throughout the two-day video shoot from December 2 to 3, the 21-year-old singer was seen in some of the pictures donning a bullet bra, skimpy black shorts and a mickey mouse-styled helmet.
The bullet bra and skimpy shorts aren't the only costume Rihanna had for the video shot which took place at California's Simi Valley. A number of other pictures give out also a variety of other sexy military costumes she wore during the filming. One photo, in particular, captures the ex-girlfriend of singer
Chris Brown handling a golden rifle on her left hand.
She previously shared to MTV about the concept of the video, which she described in two words as "couture military". She explained, "Everything is surrounded by the whole idea of something military." She, moreover, added, "We have tanks, we have troops, we've got helicopters, we've got explosions ... Tight gear, lot's of cute outfits, lot's of bullets. Crazy."
"Hard" is the second official single off Rihanna's fourth studio album "Rated R". Produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, it features rapper
Young Jeezy. Talking about the track itself, Rihanna recalled the time she heard it for the first time. She recalled, "When I heard it, I just loved it. It had such an attitude and a swagger."
