'I See You', the end credit song for James Cameron's upcoming sci-fi movie, has been made available for listening in full.
How Leona Lewis' "I See You" will sound like in full shouldn't be questioned no more. On Friday, December 4, the ballad which will be played over the end credits of "Avatar", has made its online debut. The theme song for James Cameron's sci-fi will be included in the film's soundtrack which comes out in U.S. stores on December 15.
Talking about "I See You" with PopEater, the 24-year-old singer explained, "The song represents the feelings shared between Jake and Neytiri, it's very powerful and beautiful." Of what James expected through the track, she said, "James and I spoke about the meaning and emotion of the song. He showed me clips from the film which gave me insight into the characters and this whole other world that he had created."
The contribution of Leona Lewis in "Avatar" soundtrack was first disclosed by Atlantic Records on November 16. Through a press release, it was revealed that the winner of the third "The X Factor" will provide the only vocal track to be found in the album, much like Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" for Cameron's 1997 hit movie "Titanic".
"Avatar" itself is a live action movie starring Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver and Zoe Saldana among others. Set to hit the U.S. theaters on December 18, it follows a paraplegic ex-marine as he is thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, who eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival.
