In addition to performing her two singles, Rihanna also shows off her comedy skill on 'Saturday Night Live' with Andy Samberg in a digital short.
Rihanna has shown her comedic side in a "Saturday Night Live" digital short along with comedian Andy Samberg. In the skit, which was aired on December 5, Rihanna is seen getting desperate in her attempt to teach Andy's Shy Ronnie a rapping part in her song. Standing in front of a classroom, Rihanna tries to make a duet with the school teacher, Shy Ronnie.
Ronnie, however, is too nervous to team up with the "Umbrella" hitmaker, so instead of rapping, he mumbles his words. Things get funnier when Ronnie wets himself. Finally giving up on her attempt to make him raps, the Barbadian beauty then leaves the class singing "Bye Shy Ronnie". But, soon after she left the room, Ronnie without hesitation raps successfully.
This December 5 performance was Rihanna's first on "SNL". She was tapped as the musical guest accompanying Gossip Girl star Blake Lively who served as guest host. Although many people guessed that Rihanna would use her appearance on "SNL" to joke about ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, the "Take a Bow" singer didn't mention him at all.
Beside doing the digital short, Rihanna also performed her two singles from her new album "Rated R" which was released on November 23. She sang "Russian Roulette" before delivered another single which features Young Jeezy titled "Hard".
