Nick Jonas has confessed that there is not romantic thing happen between him and his ex-girlfriend
Miley Cyrus. Speaking in an interview with
Ryan Seacrest last week, the youngest member of famous musical trio
Jonas Brothers admitted that he is happy to be friends with the "Hannah Montana" star.
"Just friends with Miley," Nick confessed. "Actually with Miley it's great to see that after all the things that we've been through individually and together we can still come out and be best friends. And that's a genuine answer. And it's great. We're in a good place right now."
When asked by Ryan whether or not he has already had any special ladies to accompany him when he hits the road with his new side project Nick Jonas and The Administration next year, the 17-year-old simply answered, "No. No date." Nick then went on to say that he is currently trying to focus on his career in music. "I think that right now it's all about the music for me," he revealed.
Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus had been dating for about two years before they finally decided to call off their romance in 2007. In June this year, the two were said rekindling their romance after the "Party in the U.S.A" hitmaker broke up with her underwear model boyfriend
Justin Gaston. However, the report was turned down by Miley herself, stating "We're very close now, but definitely in a different way."
"At the beginning we had a lot of trouble being friends," the daughter of country music crooner
Billy Ray Cyrus further explained. "It's easy to be a guy's friend but once you've been together, it kind of messes things up. I know it's not the end. He's honestly one of my best friends, and I still talk to him so much."
