Being too 'impatient' to learn about her first baby's sex whom she has with fiance Darren Le Gallo, the 'Doubt' star reasons, 'It's not about planning a nursery, it's more about I just want to know'.
Being pregnant with her first child which is due in spring 2010 with her actor fiance Darren Le Gallo,
Amy Adams stated that she's about to learn the baby's sex. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET) which was aired on December 7, the "
Enchanted" star said that the reason why she wants to know the baby's sex is simply because she is just curious.
Amy shared to ET on why she is so dying to know the child's gender, explaining "It's not about planning a nursery, it's more about I just want to know. I want to be able to relate in that way." She added, "That's what works for me, but I totally believe in whatever works for the individual."
Moreover, Amy stated that she actually wants to wait to know the baby's sex, but she is too "impatient" about it. The Rose Lorkowski in "
Sunshine Cleaning" said, "We will probably find out. I thought about waiting and I just don't think that's really my personality."
When she was asked about her plan of walking down the aisle with Darren, the 35-year-old film star informed, "We actually had a date, and then we had push it because I took a part." She continued, "I actually had to get permission and I called him and said, 'We're actually going to push the date.' Now that I have the time off we'll definitely be planning it."
Amy Adams, who was reportedly engaged to actor Darren Le Gallo in April 2008, will be seen portraying Anna in upcoming movie "
Leap Year". She will play opposite
Adam Scott, who tackles the role of Jeremy. The romcom will hit U.S. theaters on January 8, 2010.
