Audrina's representative has officially affirmed that the 24-year-old actress will return for the sixth season of the MTV series which will start the production in early 2010.
Although being previously reported having no firm deal to return to "The Hills",
Audrina Patridge is officially confirmed to rejoin the MTV series. To Us Magazine, the actress' rep Jennifer Shoucair Weaver affirmed, "I can officially confirm that Audrina Patridge will appear in the 6th season of 'The Hills'".
"Production will resume shortly after the new year," Weaver added. The rep further mentioned that "Hills" isn't the only project the TV personality has on her sleeves. "Next week, Patridge begins filming the pilot episode of her currently unnamed spin off show, also for MTV," she explained. "The new show will be produced by Mark Burnett."
Earlier after rumor suggesting that Patridge was "100 percent signed on" spread out, her rep came up with a statement, "Audrina is still in discussions with MTV about Season 6 of The Hills". The rep insisted at that time that there was no decision about whether Patridge will be back to the show or not, stating "There is not a firm deal in place."
Back in August, Patridge herself revealed that she wouldn't come back to "The Hills", saying "We're in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I'll be leaving then." The 24-year-old actress added, "It feels like I'm graduating. I'm taking the next step and growing up and maturing and moving on in my life."
Audrina Patridge is one of the main cast in reality TV show "The Hills", which was first premiered on May 31, 2006. Beside playing herself in the MTV series, she has also starred in several movies including "
Sorority Row" and "
Into the Blue 2: The Reef".
