'From what I know, Robin did issue a statement saying to expect new music, new ideas and to expect new faces,' the PCD member says of the pop dance group's future.
While founder Robin Antin has insisted earlier that
The Pussycat Dolls are "very much ALIVE", member
Kimberly Wyatt recently talked about her uncertain future in the pop dance group. Speaking to Digital Spy, the 27-year-old hinted that she may not be in the line-up when the pop group makes their return.
"The Pussycat Dolls have been on a hiatus for a while now. I really don't know what's to come, I can't even comment on it because I'm not the driving force behind it," she stated. "Robin Antin is the creator and there's a lot of chefs in the kitchen when it comes to the Pussycat Dolls. They're making their choices wisely."
Wyatt further acknowledged the possibility of new faces being brought into PCD, saying "From what I know, Robin did issue a statement saying to expect new music, new ideas and to expect new faces." Still, she assured fans that she will somehow still get involved. "No matter what happens, I'll always be involved with the Pussycat Dolls even if it's helping with choreography or creative direction."
Closing her statement on the band's future, the singer who is also known as a dancer and choreographer expressed her gratitude to Antin. "I'm very thankful for everything that Robin has given me and I always want to express that in any way I can, whether it's in the group, outside the group or whatever it may be," so she said.
Back in late November, Robin Antin was forced to deny the swirling rumor that members of The Pussycat Dolls are giving lead singer
Nicole Scherzinger silent treatment amidst break-up rumor of the all girl pop group. In her statement to Hollyscoop, she hinted on possibility of new members, saying "The PCD brand has evolved and has continuously grown since day one so look out for new music, new concepts, new faces and more hit songs!"
