Showing off their musical talents in a scene of 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel', the Chipettes takes the stage singing Beyonce's hit single 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)'.
Beyonce Knowles' second single off "I Am...Sasha Fierce", "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", has got a chipmunk treatment. A brand new clip from "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" has unfolded the extended scene wherein the Chipmunks' counterpart, the Chipettes, covers the hit song. The clip comes out courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.
Beyonce's "Single Ladies" won't be the only hit song to be covered for the forthcoming sequel of 2007's "Alvin and the Chipmunks". The previously released trailer has unraveled the Chipmunks harmonizing their vocals to "Right Round", Flo Rida's first single from his second studio album "R.O.O.T.S.".
"The Squeakquel" centers around the harmony singing chipmunks named Alvin, Simon and Theodore. Finding themselves in the care of Dave Seville's twenty-something nephew Toby, the pop sensations are forced to put aside music superstardom to return to school. When they are asked to save the school's music program by winning the $25,000 prize in a battle of the bands, they meet their match in The Chipettes.
