Joining co-stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law at the special screening event, the actress who plays Irene Adler in this drama thriller channels her exquisite and elegant side.
Rachel McAdams stole the spotlight when attending the world premiere of "
Sherlock Holmes" on Monday, December 14. Coming to the special screening event held at The Empire Leicester Square in London, the Irene Adler depicter brought in the Holmes-era feel to the red carpet with her gorgeous attire.
Dazzling the crowd as well as the press line at the red carpet, the co-star of
Ryan Gosling in "
The Notebook" was captured on camera in an one-shoulder Andrew Gn gown and Christian Louboutin shoes. Sutra drop earrings and three Armapali bracelets completed her sexy look for the special night.

Robert Downey Jr. also showed off his suave look when attending the special screening. The actor who takes on the title role in the movie wore three-piece suits in shades of grey wool with a fedora, and arrived at the premiere in the companion of wife and producer of this movie Susan Downey.

Jude Law came in with a more casual outfit. He was seen in a black jacket over a printed tee, black pants, and a polka-dotted scarf. During a press conference earlier, he gave a coy response to a question whether he is back with
Sienna Miller. "The only person I'm in love with at the moment is sitting on my left," he said referring to Downey Jr.
In addition to those three stars, the world premiere was also attended by director Guy Ritchie and producer Joel Silver. Some other cast members, including
Mark Strong and
Kelly Reilly, were also spotted joining the principal cast. Additionally,
Gavin Rossdale,
Gwen Stefani and
Heather Graham were among the guest celebrities seen.
"Sherlock Holmes" is based on Lionel Wigram's upcoming comic book. The movie sends Holmes and his partner Watson on their latest challenge. Revealing fighting skills as lethal as his legendary intellect, the famous detective will battle like never before to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country. It will be released in U.S. theaters on December 25.
