Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez Allegedly Call It Quits

The 'Nine' beauty and the baseball player are reportedly back on single market after a source confirms that the twosome is currently not together anymore.

Rumor has it, Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez have called off their relationship. No confirmation about the truth to the rumor has been disclosed by the couple, but a source close to the baseman of New York Yankees claimed the twosome is not together anymore. Confirming the split, the source told Gossip Cop, "It's true."

Hollywood Life, in the meantime, was the first to come up with report that Hudson and Rodriguez have broken up. The site reported that on Friday night, December 11 the baseball player was spotted partying at Wall Lounge in the W Hotel, Miami, while the "Bride Wars" beauty was busy promoting her new movie "Nine" in New York City. The 34-year-old athlete, in particular, was said enjoying his night outing with two women.

"He was acting VERY single, and Kate Hudson was definitely not there," a source stated. Of Hudson and Rodriguez's current relationship, another source said, "Kate and A-Rod broke up. They are totally over."

Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez were first rumored dating in May this year after they were allegedly photographed getting cozy at Mustang Grill, a Mexican restaurant in Manhattan. Since then, they have been photographed stepping out together for several times, but they still declined to open up about their romance.

Recently, the ex-wife of Chris Robinson revealed the reason why she kept her feelings to Rodriguez under wraps. She told the January issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine, "I have a child, and there are people involved, and it's unfair to talk about somebody else, especially when you're not in that place yet to be discussing those things. If I was sitting here with a belly out to here, I'd be talking about what the relationship is and how important that is in my life right now."
