Anna Paquin Could Romance 'One Tree Hill' Actor in 'True Blood'

Best known for his roles as Owen the Bartender on 'One Tree Hill', Joe Manganiello has got himself the role of werewolf Alcide who is likely to have a fling with Sookie Stackhouse.

When "True Blood" returns to small screen in 2010 with season three, Anna Paquin could be seen having a fling with Joe Manganiello. HBO has recently confirmed that the actor who stars as Owen the Bartender on "One Tree Hill" has landed the recurring part of werewolf Alcide Herveaux.

Series creator Alan Ball has discussed about the possible romance between Sookie and Alcide in early 2009. "I believe [Alcide] appears first in the third episode," he detailed. "Alcide is already in love with someone, a very bad woman named Debbie Pelt. But will he fall in love with some else? It's too soon to say."

Although mentioning that it was too soon to talk about the fling, he did mentioned that the two characters will get along. "This good-looking, rough-looking, but articulate and basically decent man is not what he seems," he said. "He is a heroic type and he and Sookie get along really well, and it's possible there's even an attraction between the two."

While Sookie could found a new love interest, Alexander Skarsgard's Eric gets a new toy with the joining of Natasha Alam. Alam, who is known as Ava on "The Bold and the Beautiful", will take the role of Fangtasia's new dancer Yvetta, who will have a sexual relationship with Eric.
