Weeks before he quits Twitter, the 'Crawl' hitmaker has said, 'Honestly, Twitter has done nothing but get me into trouble.'
Chris Brown may not share the real reason behind him deleting his Twitter account on Monday, December 14, but it may well be due to the troubles the micro-blogging site brought him. Pointing out the possible cause of Brown sudden exit was MTV, which released the interview the site had with the R 'n' B singer in November.
"Honestly, Twitter has done nothing but get me into trouble," the 20-year-old shared when referring to the fan-made video montage of him and former girlfriend
Rihanna which he posted on his account back in October. He further explained that he used the social network to show his appreciation to fans, saying "I would say Twitter is just a way for me to talk to my fans directly - the people who actually support me and want to know who I am."
"Like, I get a chance to talk to them or say little things on there sometimes that might be funny sometimes," he moreover elaborated. "I might be arguing with somebody on there like ... somebody might say something and I might say something back. But for the most part I get a chance to talk to fans and [say], 'Look, if you all didn't see this video, look at that, look at this.' Or I am always just having fun on there, so it's an interaction thing for me and my fans."
Chris Brown deleted his Twitter account under name of MechanicalDummy just days after he accused music retailers for "" his new studio album "Graffiti". Moments before his account went missing, he posted a tweet thanking his fans. The post read, "I wanna thank my fans for all the support. I love yall. Goodbye!!!!!!!!!!!!"
