Revealing what season three has in store for the friendship between Chuck and Morgan, the title star of the NBC's action comedy series goes on to share his excitement over his new kick-ass moves.
There could be a break-up happening between Chuck and Morgan in season three of "Chuck", series star
Zachary Levi teased. In a recent chat with E! Online, the self-proclaimed Special Agent Carmichael himself let out that Chuck's secret spying "continues to put a strain" on the best friends' bromance.
"It's difficult because Chuck and Morgan [Joshua Gomez] have been best friends since they were young kids, and over the past two seasons, Chuck has had to distance and distance and distance himself from his best friend to try and keep him safe," Levi went on explaining. "His entire personal life is always kind of at risk depending on how much they know or how close they are to the danger he is now involved with."
The TV star added, "Also, how he is able to lie to them day in and day out starts to really have an affect on their ability to just be friends." Revealing more complication to trust issue, he said, "Morgan moves into Chuck's place, and they have a bachelor pad that's good for a little while, but eventually it makes it worse in some ways because they are so close in proximity that Morgan sees how absent his friend and friendship are."
When asked about the martial arts skills his Chuck now possessing, Levi expressed his excitement, "For two years I sat on the sidelines and watched Adam and Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah) kick bad guys' butts and was very jealous of that." He further stated, "Not that Chuck should have been able to do it at that point; he was much better at running away or screaming a little girl. But now that he has this new intersect and the abilities that come with that, he is able to lend a hand in the kick buttery if you will."
Back in May, it was announced that "Chuck" will return for another season with a thirteen-episode order. Later on, it was extended to nineteen episodes. On November 19, NBC announced that the series will be premiered on Sunday, January 10, 2010 with a two hour premiere at 9/8c. It will then settle to its permanent time slot of Mondays 8/7c.
Kristin Kreuk and
Angie Harmon are among the guest stars coming on board.
